KS4EOC 146.925 Repeater - Back on the Air
The KS4EOC repeater in Sumterville, Florida was placed back on the air at the end of July, 2024. The entire system was overhauled. The old tower structure was removed and replaced with a new tower a few hundred yards away. New hard line and a new antenna was also installed. The antenna, at nearly 300 feet above ground, provides remarkable coverage. The radio equipment and components are owned by Sumter County Emergency Management. The tower is owned by SECO. The Monday evening Sumter County EmComm Net will resume on this repeater.
