Gallery: 2024 ARRL Field Day
On Wednesday, May 15th, 2024, Sumter County ARES, in partnership with the Hog County Amateur Radio Association, presented amateur radio to Mrs. Tiffany Ward’s Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics classes at the South Sumter Middle School in Webster, Florida. Our goal was to spark interest in amateur radio among this group of gifted students. We emphasised how their studies of science, technology, engineering and mathematics are relevant in every aspect of amateur radio. Read the full After Action Report here.
