SUMTER COUNTY ARES FUNDING
​Sumter County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) is a Florida Non-Profit, 501(C)(3) tax exempt organization. This dedicated corps of volunteers donate their time and equipment to provide vital radio communications during disasters and for non-emergency community events. These services are provided at no cost to taxpayers and funded entirely through donations. Your contribution will help ensure we are able to continue to deliver these vital services in our communities.

Equipment Donations
Do you have amateur radio equipment you would like to donate? If so, please contact us and we will arrange to pick it up. Sumter ARES will use the equipment or deposit proceeds from the sale of the item(s). We will provide you with a receipt that you may use for tax purposes.
